The process of changing your Nevada Registered Agent truly is quite simple. The Nevada Secretary of State has created a "pre-made" form which will need to be filled out, signed by both a representative associated with the entity and also your new Nevada Registered Agent. Once signed, it will need to be filed with the Secretary of State.

Once the completed Statement of Change of Registered Agent form has been filed with the Nevada Secretary of State it will go into processing. Processing times vary depending on the time of year and the work load at the Nevada Secretary of State's office. Typically, it will take anywhere between 5 to 10 business days for the State to apply the changes. Keep a close eye on your entity during this time to make sure the changes are in fact made and made correctly (it is not common, but occasionally documents are lost or incorrectly recorded at the State). If there are any problems after processing is complete, notify the Secretary of State's office immediately!
